Immerse
For teenagers, it is especially difficult to be a Christian. But Jesus left us a great example when He was baptized. He was “immersed” in water and lived a pure life. He had an effective teaching ministry and everywhere He went, He was a light shining in the dark. And now He calls us to that, too. He calls us to immerse ourselves in Him. We are called to live pure lives. We should teach with our words and our actions. We are to be a light shining in the dark.
IMMERSE is Wednesday evening worship at The Fellowship for students in 6th grade through 12th grade. Our goal is to give students a place to Look Up, to experience the presence of God and be inspired to worship Him. Through songs, prayer, and digging into the Bible, we passionately pursue God. We want students to take the call of Jesus Christ seriously, and represent Him in everything they do.
IMMERSE meets in the Student Center, on the Southwest corner of our campus, from 7-8:30 pm throughout the school year.
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11 am, we have another chance to come together and worship through hearing the Bible taught. Our goal is to teach students how to apply biblical truth to everyday life. Teaching usually includes a game or a video to make illustrations. Our aim, again, is that students would be inspired to worship God and understand how His Word shapes our lives. Both middle and high school meet in the Student Center for both services.
