Elementary

Our prayer and goal in Elementary-aged ministry is to teach children the importance of studying the Bible, praying, and spending time with other Christians. Through these, they can receive spiritual nourishment that will help them live a life confident in God's promises.

Each service is filled with Bible lessons, music, games, and crafts. Children are taught biblical principles and participate in activities that teach them to apply what they have learned. Children are asked to bring a Bible with them every week.

Classes are divided into 1ST/2ND GRADE and 3RD/4TH GRADE. The 1st and 2nd graders study the New Testament. They focus on the life of Jesus, His ultimate sacrifice, and the teaching of the apostles following His death and resurrection. The 3rd and 4th graders study the stories and people of the Old Testament, and how the entire Old Testament points forward to Jesus and His atonement for our sin. Our teachers are creative and caring, and incorporate music, puppets, videos, and games to teach students and keep them engaged in the lesson.

For students in 5TH GRADE, the atmosphere changes a bit. EPIC stands for Endless Possibilities In Christ. In EPIC our goal is to prepare them for the transition into middle and high school and for the challenges and temptations that accompany that time of life. We focus on studying the behaviors that Jesus expects from His followers and the blessings that come from obedience to God's word.
