Donnie Smith, Lead Pastor
Believing the Bible reveals the nature and character of a Holy God, Donnie’s passion is to share that truth with people everywhere. This simple mission has led him to travel to, or partner with people in, many different places - all over the United States as well as Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
Donnie is married to his high school sweetheart, Kristina, and they have two children who love the Lord. A graduate of Dallas Baptist University with dual Master’s Degrees in Leadership and Biblical Studies, Donnie pastored churches in Dallas, St. Louis, and Memphis before coming to The Fellowship in 2009. His ministry includes twelve years in Student Ministry, four years as a Teaching Pastor, and a constant commitment to point people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Steve Adler, Discipleship Pastor
Steve’s greatest burden is to see the Church challenged and equipped to press on to maturity in Christ. His goal at The Fellowship is to see every believer growing and experiencing God’s grace through all our ministries. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University - first with a B.A. in Religious Education, then with a M.L.A. in Church History - and served in student ministry and small group ministry in Dallas before bringing his wife, Heather, and their three children to The Fellowship in March, 2011.
Brandon Weir, Student Pastor
Brandon is contagiously passionate about seeing students respond to Jesus and worship Him in spirit and in truth. He was involved in ministry while attending Texas Tech, and joined the staff in June, 2010, as Student Pastor after graduating with his M.Div. from Truett Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Jules, (and their fish, Turk) enjoy being used to build relationships and spread the Gospel with middle and high school students all over Round Rock.
Jonathan Hunt, Worship Pastor
With great conviction, Jonathan’s mission is to encourage and lead the Church to respond to the grandeur of God with authentic worship. He studied Music Ministry at Dallas Baptist University and has been leading worship ministries since 2005. He has been at The Fellowship since January, 2011, and his greatest joy is his wife, Kacie, their daughter, and stirring believers’ affections for Christ through music, creative media, and graphic arts.
Dawn McNutt, Children’s Ministries Director
Dawn has been with The Fellowship since 1998, serving and investing in the lives of children in every area of Children’s Ministry. She loves teaching and loves to see kids grow in their knowledge of the Lord. While teaching at Fellowship Christian Academy faithfully for years, Dawn’s leadership alongside earning her Master’s in Education in 2007, elevated her to Children’s Director in 2009. With the support of her husband, Jeff, and their two boys, she now oversees all Children’s Ministry and Fellowship Christian Academy.
Heidi Honey, Preschool Coordinator
Heidi has served in many capacities at The Fellowship Round Rock, but none as fulfilling as leading the Preschool Ministry. Prior to becoming Preschool Coordinator in 2009, she taught technology classes at The Fellowship Christian Academy. She brings a wealth of creativity and outside-the-box ideas from her experiences studying Fashion Merchandising & Marketing at New Mexico State University, and time managing a Learning & Development Team at Dell. She and James have two boys, and her joy is investing in children and teaching them about the Lord.
Kristy May, Elementary Coordinator
Kristy has been teaching elementary-aged children at The Fellowship since 2005. She has taught in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes, then joined the staff as Elementary Coordinator in September, 2010. A native of Austin who’s passionate about teaching children, she earned her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas, then taught in Austin ISD and Round Rock ISD before bringing her husband, David, their three girls, and her energy and talents to The Fellowship.
